Our Story

Casa Playa was originally built and inhabited by a local architect whose family pioneered the island’s development and growth. He envisioned a home that blended simplicity with the beauty of its surroundings, creating a retreat in a Caribbean Mexican contemporary style with a minimalistic design.

The house was carefully transformed into a luxury beachfront villa, preserving its original warmth while embracing modern comfort. Its spaces were expanded and refined to offer openness and privacy in equal measure, honoring the essence of a family retreat while elevating it into a destination for travelers.

Today, Casa Playa welcomes families and friends from around the world, and invites guests to experience the same spirit of connection and belonging that has always defined this special home.
